The North Company of the Aachen Fire Department is one out of 14 companies in the City of Aachen, Germany. Of these, 3 are professional companies and have their crew on duty in 24 hour shifts – the remaining 11 are all voluntary companies. The North Company covers an area wich contains the complete historical city center of Aachen, but also extends to its north and south where it contains a large part of the city forest. The southern limit of the area covered by us is the country border to Belgium. In the map of Aachen, our district is shown red.
